Housed in an Art Nouveau building completed in 1901, this Tampere market hall is home to more than 30 small businesses. Shoppers come for fresh ingredients and seasonal produce, bread and pastries, sweets and Spanish delicacies. The food counters serve dishes from around the world as well as home-style cooking, from soul food to sushi.
The cafés cater for different diets, and there is also a hairdresser, a florist and a natural products shop. A visit usually takes 20 minutes to an hour. The entrance and toilets are wheelchair accessible, there is accessible seating, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
