This is the Tampere district of the Finnish Workers' Sports Federation (TUL), one of its 15 member districts, with about 80 member clubs in its area. The district was founded in 1919 and aims to make exercise enjoyable and open to everyone, whatever their age or background. Its calendar includes family camps, club seminars and gymnastics competitions.
The district informs member clubs about grants, subsidies and member benefits, and its website lists the member clubs and the district rules. A newsletter comes out once or twice a month, and the district is also on Facebook and Instagram. The office is on the fifth floor of the building that houses the Lenin Museum.
