In a former palace in Turku, archaeology meets contemporary art. Underground are the ruins of medieval stone houses and archaeological finds, and you can walk along the old Luostarin jokikatu street. It describes itself as Finland's only archaeological museum. The art side shows changing exhibitions and a Finnish and international collection from the mid-1950s onwards.
Tickets cover the whole building or one of its two parts, and guided tours can be booked. An audio guide is also available in Ukrainian. Brunndeli serves lunch and Saturday brunch, the shop sells gifts and books, and rooms can be hired for meetings and celebrations. Parking, the entrance and toilets are accessible.
