Housed in an Art Nouveau building from 1907 in Turku, this nature museum presents Finnish nature from the Turku archipelago to the fell landscapes of Lapland. The main exhibition is a set of dioramas showing Finnish plants and animals, and an outdoor exhibition, Yard and Park, covers urban nature. It is run by the City of Turku.
You can take an audio guide or join a guided tour, and school groups have their own visits. Tickets are sold in the online shop, and the Museokortti museum card is accepted. There is also a shop. The toilet is accessible, wheelchairs can be rented, and the museum is suitable for children. A visit usually takes 20 minutes to an hour.
