This Neapolitan-style pizzeria stands on the bank of the Aura River in Turku, in a pavilion from 1848 that locals call Pinella. According to its website it is the oldest continuously operating restaurant space in Finland, and the pizzas are baked in an Italian Valoriani oven built by hand on site. Legend has it that Elias Lönnrot, J. L. Runeberg and Sakari Topelius spent evenings in the red room.
Tables for 2 to 12 people can be booked online; larger groups book by email and same-day bookings are made by phone. The terrace takes no reservations, so seats are first come, first served, and the cellar room can be booked separately. The entrance, toilet and seating are accessible.
