This restaurant on the Aura riverbank, in the Casagrande building next to Vähätori, opened in 2007 and was founded by chef Marko Rauhala. The food is skilled but unpretentious neighbourhood cooking from seasonal ingredients. Lunch is served Tuesday to Friday, and in the evening there are à la carte and set menus.
Tables can be booked online for up to six people, and larger groups by email; groups of eight or more choose a pre-ordered set menu. On Saturdays a market lunch is served while it lasts. A standing bar offers quick bites without a reservation, and the private room seats 16. Allergies can be catered for if reported in advance.
