Housed in the old crown warehouse of Forum Marinum on the lower Aura River, near Turku Castle, this restaurant is named after the travel writer Göran Schildt, and his sailing boat Daphne is displayed in the middle of the dining room. Signature dishes are fish soup and archipelago bread.
The weekday lunch has a fish-focused starter buffet, and dishes are marked L (lactose-free), G (gluten-free), M (dairy-free) and VEG (vegan). At weekends there is an archipelago table, a weekend menu or à la carte dishes, and there is a warm main course for children. A table reservation is recommended for lunch. There are meeting and party rooms, the entrance is accessible and the car park is free.
