The association promotes recovery boiler reliability, safety, environmental performance and process efficiency. It organises an annual Recovery Boiler Day, with working groups covering subjects such as the environment, liquor and boiler durability. It also awards thesis prizes.
Membership applications are accepted through the website, which has a members-only section. Board and working group meetings also take place on Teams. Association rules, decision-making documents and an English introduction are available online.
