Founded in 1984, the mental health association offers groups, excursions and peer support for adults. It belongs to the Finnish Central Association for Mental Health. Participation is voluntary, with no referral or diagnosis required.
The meeting place is alcohol- and drug-free. The association also has another meeting place, Lauhatuuli. Activities are covered in a member magazine and newsletter, and both regular and supporting memberships are available.
