Founded in 1951, the scout group admits boys as child members from age seven, with sections from cub scouts to older teenagers. Outdoor activities include hiking, skiing, climbing, canoeing and sailing, with wilderness trips to other Nordic countries.
The group has camping equipment, its own summer camp and a winter camp shared with its sister group. Activities include a scout skills competition, and adults can volunteer as leaders. A start-of-season event welcomes new scouts.
Tell families considering scouting in the comments about the group's trips and regular activities.
