Founded in 1953, the local heritage association preserves local history and folk traditions. It organises heritage evenings and excursions and maintains an online archive with over 11,000 items, including photos, videos, press cuttings and records.
Events are held at its Sauri premises, which members and the public can hire. An online shop sells local postcards and Tankki täyteen merchandise. New members can join committees and volunteer work.
