Founded in 2010, the association supports Arabic-speaking immigrants with everyday matters, healthcare and dealings with authorities. It offers peer and parent support and volunteer-led homework help for Arabic-speaking children. Cultural events and an annual Arabic culture festival bring Finnish and Arabic-speaking communities together.
Its easily approachable service point works in Finnish and Arabic. A Finnish–Arabic language and conversation club is open to everyone. The association works with authorities and partner organisations and supports humanitarian projects, including tutoring for displaced children in southern Syria. Wheelchair access extends to both the entrance and parking facilities.
