This is the local branch of the Finnish electrical workers' union Sähköliitto, founded on 6 May 1955. It represents electrical workers under the building, power plant, energy distribution and industrial electrical contract groups.
Members are offered events such as the annual general meeting, board meetings and a Christmas party. A holiday apartment share is available to members, with a weekly lottery. The branch has also published a 50-year history and asks members what services it should offer: training, leisure events, advocacy and networking.
