This Lebanese restaurant in the Aurinkotalo building in Helsinki says it brought Mediterranean food culture to the city in 1995. The founding trio is Viviane (ideas), Aki (kitchen skills) and Viviane's sister Maggie (spices). The menu has mezze such as house hummus, tabbouleh and baba ghanoush, plus a chicken and pistachio dish. Only domestic ingredients are used, and halal meat is not served.
Tables can be booked online, and a dinner reservation is recommended. Lunch and dinner are served, with vegetarian and vegan options, cocktails and wine; takeaway is available. A form handles enquiries about private events. Seating and toilet are step-free, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
