This Helsinki coding school trains software developers in an 18-month, full-time programme on campus. There are no teachers or lectures: students learn by building real software and giving feedback on each other's work. It is funded by Supercell and OP Pohjola, and its website says more than 200 companies have hired its students.
Tuition is free, and students can apply for Kela student financial aid and a student loan. No degree is needed, but applicants must be at least 18 and Finnish or EU citizens, or hold a residence permit for full-time study. Applying starts online, followed by a three-week selection period on campus. The entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
