Part of HUS Helsinki University Hospital, this cancer centre in Helsinki provides radiotherapy for the whole Uusimaa region, as well as cancer drug therapy and treatment of blood diseases for patients over 16. It also carries out breast surgery and specialised palliative care, takes patients referred from elsewhere in Finland and runs more than 150 clinical studies.
Some outpatient clinics only see patients with a doctor's referral, and haematology, isotope and X-ray services are by appointment. On site are a pharmacy, a café and an OLKA information point run by organisations and volunteers. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible, and cards are accepted.
