Founded in spring 2023 by Finnish and Estonian volunteers, the association supports Ukrainian war refugees with daily help and advice. Assistance began in 2022. Its roughly 40 members include Finns, Estonians and Ukrainians. A base in Ukraine hosts about 30 international volunteers from spring to autumn.
Activities include a language café, individual guidance and a Ukrainian centre in Uusikaupunki. Most humanitarian aid is bought directly from Ukrainian manufacturers. Donations of goods, cars, animal supplies and corporate contributions are accepted.
