The trade union represents and advises officers of the Finnish Defence Forces and Border Guard, with services also for officer cadets. It follows and negotiates state civil service collective agreements and is affiliated with Akava, JUKO and the Nordic officers' alliance.
Members can attend training and delegate assemblies and use a mobile membership card. Publications include a members' magazine, military pension guide and workplace cooperation guide.
