The service is operated by the Finnish Electrotechnical Trade Association (STK), which maintains the Finnish electrical number system and product data service. Sähkonumerot.fi lists product cards showing supplier, brand, generic name, product code and packaging size. About 250,000 products are active, and with archived products the total exceeds 600,000. Around 92% of products have an image and 56% have technical data in the ETIM standard. About 500 importers and manufacturers with 1,480 brands are listed.
The service offers a product folder, free-text and detailed search, and an API for managing product data. Products with the STUL guarantee carry a STUL guarantee logo on the product card. STK organises training days and webinars on e-numbers, ETIM and product data for the supply chain. Supplier product data is maintained by manufacturers or importers, and STK does not guarantee its accuracy.
