Founded in 1950, the friendship society promotes Finnish-Hungarian relations through a network of over 30 local associations. It arranges Hungarian language courses, cultural trips, food and wine activities, and school and student exchanges.
The society publishes a quarterly magazine, language learning materials, travel books and cookbooks. Membership includes the magazine. Partners include educational institutions, twin towns, and cultural and tourism organisations.
