This nature hobbyists' association has rented the old wooden villa on Kuusiluoto island since 1990. It looks after the yard and the natural landscape of the island, and each summer free-grazing sheep return to graze there.
Kuusiluoto lies in Vanhankaupunginselkä and is reached by a plank path of about one kilometre. The island is a general recreation area owned by the city. It has been inhabited since the 1880s, and several associations have used it for summer events and camps.
