The local branch of the Finnish Industrial Union helps members and workplace representatives with employment problems. Advice covers membership, layoffs, dismissal and the threat of unemployment.
It trains and supports workplace representatives, maps workplaces and organises member courses and trips. The branch is affiliated with the open unemployment fund A-kassa.
