This Turku café occupies an 1850s wooden house next to the Luostarinmäki museum quarter. It serves freshly brewed coffee and homemade pastries, pies, buns, sandwiches and bread, and caters for special diets and children. It makes a good stop during a museum visit or a destination in its own right.
There is seating indoors and outdoors, with a terrace in summer. The rooms can be hired all year for private events of about 10 to 60 people. Opening is seasonal, so check the hours before you go. The market square is about a kilometre away, and there is parking on nearby streets. The café belongs to the Tähtikahvilat group.
