This site of a City of Turku comprehensive is home to grades 7 to 9 and to the offices of the principal and deputy principal. It is housed in the Puolalan yhteislyseo building. Nearly 1,000 pupils study across three buildings in all, and the English and German language classes and the music classes continue right up to the end of year 9.
Some language, music, art and craft lessons are held in another building. Pupils can take a reading diploma and join clubs and the pupil council, and health care and study support are available. Post concerning grades 7–9 is addressed to this unit, and communication with families goes through Wilma.
