This Swedish-language primary school (grades 1–6) in Turku (Åbo) serves Swedish-speaking and bilingual pupils from the city and the surrounding area. Founded on 15 January 1872, it has been housed in the Turun Lyseo building since 1997. There are about 480 pupils, more than 30 teachers and 12 school assistants, and teaching focuses on language and creative work.
The school has a restaurant, and a school nurse is on site on weekdays. Folkhälsan runs an after-school club in the building, and a morning club also offers afternoon care for grades 3–4. In the evenings the building hosts clubs and Arbetarinstitutet courses, and it can be hired for courses and parties. The entrance is step-free.
