This building houses part of a Turku comprehensive school for grades 1–9, which operates in three buildings. With nearly 1,000 pupils, it is the local school for children living in the city centre. English and German language classes start in grade 1 and music classes in grade 3, and from grade 4 pupils can choose English, French or German as an optional A2 language.
Pupils are admitted from the local catchment area and, separately, to the language and music classes. There are clubs, a pupils' council, a reading diploma and optional subjects, and guardians use the Wilma system, with login guides in Finnish and English. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
