This building is one of three housing a comprehensive school for grades 1–9 in Turku, the local school for children living in the city centre, with nearly 1,000 pupils. English and German language classes start in grade 1 and music classes in grade 3, and from grade 4 pupils can take English, French or German as an optional second foreign language (A2).
Pupils are admitted from the local area and, separately, to the language and music classes. Support includes health care and learning support, there is a student council, and pupils can complete a reading diploma. Families keep in touch through the Wilma system, with guides for guardians in Finnish and English.
