Run by the City of Turku, this lower secondary school teaches grades 7 to 9. It offers mathematics classes and a sports emphasis, and hiking can be taken as an elective subject. The staff include special-class teachers, and the student council, peer mentors and a parents' association are all active, with the Finnish KiVa anti-bullying programme in use.
Communication with families goes through the Wilma system, and news is also shared on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. There is a step-free entrance and accessible parking.
