Set in the former prison canteen of Hotel Kakola on Kakola Hill in Turku, this restaurant is open to everyone, not just hotel guests. The kitchen favours locally produced ingredients. On weekdays the lunch includes a daily home-style main course, a cream soup, a salad buffet, coffee or tea and a small dessert, and there is also an à la carte menu.
Lunch is not served at weekends. Non-residents can come for breakfast without booking. Tables can be reserved online, and booking is recommended for dinner. A visit usually takes from 25 minutes to an hour. The entrance, seating and toilet are wheelchair accessible, there is outdoor seating, and high chairs are available.
