Started as a comics club in the 1970s, the association publishes an annual anthology, other comics and non-fiction. It organises public drawing and craft events, workshops and courses.
Schools, organisations and associations can book courses taught by comics professionals. Piirtovintti evenings combine drawing and conversation, while members meet at Tursantai gatherings. Events follow a safer-space code of conduct. The office is in Taiteen talo arts house, and publications are sold through a comics shop.
