This Turku sea scout troop has been active since 1929 and is part of the work of Turku YMCA, with Auran Tähti Pojat ja Tytöt as its sibling troop. Time on the water is spent aboard the sailing yacht s/y Meritähti.
All scouting age groups are covered, from Cub Scouts to Rovers, and there are activities for adults and family scouting too. Applications are made online through the Kuksa membership system, and the website, in Finnish and English, explains membership fees and benefits, uniforms and equipment. The troop's scout den has good transport links.
