Founded in 2002, this Turku association works for the wellbeing of children, young people and families across Southwest Finland and promotes children's rights. Its network has 41 member organisations with 720 professionals and 7,300 volunteers. It contributes expertise to steering and working groups and develops service models with partners.
The office is in Perhetalo Heideken, a former maternity hospital where organisations work together and training and meeting rooms are available to rent. A service search on the website gathers services for children, young people and families, mainly for professionals. The association also runs webinars and sends a newsletter about ten times a year.
