Founded in 1917, the boys' scout troop runs weekly meetings, camps, scouting skills competitions and sea scouting. It has an H-class sailing boat and a camping area of over 20 hectares in Mustasaari, with a cabin and sauna built in 2001. Puuviiki in Iskmo is used for day trips and shelter.
Boys from age eight and adults can join, with trial participation offered first. Sections cover cubs, adventurers, scouts, rovers and leaders. The association supports its activities through advent calendar sales and rents meeting rooms for events.
Tell other boys and their families below about your experience of the scouting activities.
