The Orthodox church belongs to Saimaa parish, formed in 2017 through the merger of two parishes. The parish covers 19 municipalities and is part of the Diocese of Kuopio and Karelia. Its worship includes liturgies, vigils and prayer services, with liturgies in Finnish and Russian.
Parish activities include catechumen instruction for people exploring Orthodoxy, icon groups and activities for young people and seniors. It also runs a Ukrainian peer support group, a Russian-language club and a language café for immigrants. The church has a toilet and accessible entrance and parking.
