This all-day neighbourhood restaurant and bar is open from late morning until late evening. On weekdays it serves a lunch with a daily warm dish, a salad table, bread and dip, with coffee or tea included. There is also an a la carte menu and a Kids' Favourites menu. It sits beside Kasarmitori square in a Jugend-style landmark building designed in 1901 by Herman Gesellius, Armas Lindgren and Eliel Saarinen. It opened as a restaurant in 2015, and the building has hosted a restaurant continuously for over 50 years. The building belongs to the Finnish Association of Academic Agronomists.
A candle-lit red-brick basement hosts private dining and events, and Christmas party bookings are taken for groups. Tables and gift cards are booked through the website. The street level has a bistro feel and there is a year-round terrace. The seating and toilet are wheelchair accessible, but the car park is not.
