Open since 1969, this Helsinki restaurant is still a homely place to eat and socialise. The kitchen serves Finnish food, and the drinks list has a wide range of wines, beers and ciders, plus cocktails and spirits. Groups can order a set menu of classic dishes, and family and company gatherings of under 50 people can be arranged.
Tables can be booked by phone during opening hours or by email. Dishes can also be ordered to take away by phone or in person, but there is no delivery. There is outdoor seating and high chairs for children, and cards and mobile payments are accepted. Paid street parking is available, and a visit usually lasts one to three and a half hours.
