This Helsinki sports hall is primarily a daily training centre for athletes and houses the Olympic Training Centre Helsinki for summer and ice sports. There are facilities for basketball, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics, combat sports, athletics and strength training, plus a mirror room, a skills hall, AlterG and altitude training.
It is run by a non-profit company, part-owned by the City of Helsinki, that uses its income to develop the hall and keep rents low. Spaces and meeting rooms can be rented for one, two or four hours. A visit usually takes 1.5 to 3 hours. The entrance, car park and toilets are wheelchair accessible, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
