This Helsinki-based sports academy for the capital region is a cooperation network rather than a single venue, and an Olympic training centre operates alongside it. It supports athletes in 30 sports with daily training and dual careers, combining sport with study or work. Services include physical training and testing, medical care, physiotherapy, sports psychology, nutrition and injury rehabilitation.
Higher-education partners include Aalto University and the University of Helsinki. Youth programmes run in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and elsewhere, with summer day camps for grades 7 to 9 at the academy's hall. The website is in Finnish, Swedish and English, and the entrance is step-free.
