The association brings together enthusiasts of DX listening, or long-distance radio reception. It organises the annual Kesis summer meeting, held in a different Finnish town each year. It maintains a list of KiwiSDR online receivers run by itself and its member organisations in Finland, and its website has a DX photo gallery and templates for reception reports.
Services include DX guidance, a DX shop and books on radio listening and antennas. Members have their own pages and an archive of the members' magazine Radiomaailma covering decades of issues. The office is open by appointment, and the association can be contacted by email or by phone on weekdays.
