Located in Kangasala, this is Finland's national specialist museum for cars and road traffic, with around 45,000 visitors a year. Permanent displays cover rallying, the stories of roads and classics from the collection, and an outdoor exhibition looks at relief-work construction sites. Vehicles are also restored, serviced and stored here.
A café-restaurant serves lunch, and there is a shop. Guided tours and school visits are arranged, and children have a traffic park and indoor and outdoor activities. Party and meeting rooms are for hire. A visit usually lasts from 25 minutes to two hours. The entrance, toilets and parking are accessible, wheelchairs are available, and parking is free.
