Active since 1938, the youth society focuses on Finnish folk dance, with participants from around age one to older adults. Groups cover children, young people and adults, plus FolkJam dance fitness and adult-and-child music movement. Teaching follows the general syllabus of basic arts education.
The society holds Christmas and spring shows, and groups enter folk-dance competitions. Performers can be booked for celebrations and events. Members can borrow traditional costumes from Kostyymi & Rekvisiitta. The society belongs to the Finnish Youth Association.
