The centre belongs to a regional association of Finland's national Taito craft organisation. The association's activities include courses, workshops, weaving guidance and textile studios, with an emphasis on repair, maintenance and passing on craft skills.
Its craft and design school provides basic arts education for children, young people and adults following the national curriculum. Membership and volunteering are other ways to take part, and gift cards are available.
