The voluntary organisation represents visually impaired people as a regional advocacy, expertise and cooperation body. Its area covers Päijät-Häme, Riihimäki, Hausjärvi and Loppi.
Visually impaired residents of the area can become full members; supporting membership is open to anyone. Volunteers and donations support the work. Events are listed in an online calendar. The activity centre has accessible parking.
