This training restaurant is run by students of the Samiedu vocational school, who prepare dishes and pastries that change with the season and theme. It prefers locally sourced and organic ingredients, and students learn about sustainable development along the way. The weekday lunch includes soup, a cold starter buffet, a hot main course, and dessert with coffee, alongside a vegetarian daily dish. It takes part in the Portaat luomuun programme for organic produce in professional kitchens.
Besides bakery sales, there are catering services and rooms for meetings, training, parties and sauna evenings. The campus cafe Paussi serves a lunch buffet to staff and students, and its coffee is organic. The seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
