This former upper secondary school building in Tampere is used by about 200 pupils in grades 5 and 6. It is one of four buildings of a comprehensive school with about 1,050 pupils and 130 staff.
A level, wide and lit route leads from a drop-off point under 5 metres from the entrance. The entrance has a canopy and lighting, but the doors are hard to spot and heavy to open. The four-storey building has a lift that fits a wheelchair, with floor numbers you can read by touch. The accessible toilet on the entrance floor has a door that is hard to open and close, and interior doors do not stand out clearly from the walls.
