This City of Turku special school teaches patients of the children's and youth clinic at Turku University Hospital (TYKS) and of child and adolescent psychiatry. It also teaches pupils in outpatient psychiatric care whose schooling has been interrupted, or risks being interrupted, by psychological difficulties. Pupils come from the municipalities of the Southwest Finland wellbeing services county.
Teaching takes place in outpatient settings, on psychiatric wards and at Majakkasairaala, and the school also offers school psychology and consultation. It is located in the DataCity building, and the entrance is step-free. Information is available in Finnish and Swedish.
