Open since 1982, this Helsinki eatery describes itself as the city's oldest Turkish restaurant. The cooking draws on the Ottoman era and the spice route that carried Eastern spices and flavours through Turkey. The menu has meze small plates, kebabs, grilled dishes and soups, and a fresh salad comes with the meal. At lunchtime there is a buffet.
Tables can be booked online or by phone, and food can be taken away or delivered via Wolt. There is a salad bar, and wine, beer and spirits are served. High chairs are available, the toilet is accessible, and cards and mobile payments are accepted. Paid street parking is nearby. A visit usually takes 30 minutes to an hour and a half.
